BFN Fusion is based on Microsoft Azure, a cloud computing service used by many of the 500 most successful companies and recommended by countless security experts.
For us, security is not written in the stars, but at the very top of our list of priorities.
We guarantee neutral data storage – meaning: your data is not transferred to us, but remains with you at all times. Also, we ensure stability, connectivity and continuous development of the system. Automatic security updates and backups are of course a standard feature of our software.

Secure connection from A to Z
IT-security is a main priority for Big Dutchman. We handle security with a solid end to end approach, meaning: Maximum cyber security measures are upheld at the farm level as well as in the cloud where data is stored and used.
On the farm level, we utilize our OrbitX IoT Gateway to connect your controllers to the BFN Fusion cloud in a secure way. Communication is encrypted and only BFN Fusion relevant data traffic is allowed. Furthermore, the OrbitX acts as a strong firewall, protecting the farm’s controllers form unauthorized access. In this way, remote access to controllers is secure, too.
Running safely on a globally trusted platform
The BFN Fusion Cloud is hosted in Microsoft Azure which provides the highest level of security and operational stability. Our applications are developed in line with Azure’s best practice and zero trust principles, leaving nothing to chance.
Furthermore, we continuously validate our security by working with external cyber security companies who test and challenge our system on an ongoing basis (red teaming).
