Over time, we will add more modules as they are relevant for our three business units for egg production, poultry growing and pig production. BFN Fusion will continue to grow, and so will your possibilities of confidentially meeting the future challenges of the agricultural industry.

Every business is different. And each business has different needs to master the current and future challenges of animal protein production. Therefore, the BFN Fusion software platform offers modular applications that are tailored to your individual requirements.

Here is an overview of what BFN Fusion offers:
The „Connection“ module is used to setup and configure your farm with houses, silos and sections. It also monitors the connection to the farm as well as the incoming data stream.
The „Remote Access“ feature is located within the Connection module and allows you to remotely access your controllers from anywhere in the world – directly from the web browser of your PC or mobile device.. It is only possible to use remote access with Big Dutchman controllers
Data from your production is displayed in a table view. You can apply various filters and view all the data collected by the controllers. The tables are automatically saved when changes are made and you can set up as many different tables as you need.
Overview functionality:
Sorting the rows in the table allows you to see where the degree of deviation from the selected reference occurs.
Analysis functionality:
The Survey module enables you to plot different key values against each other in order to identify the cause of a potential problem or to prevent an issue from becoming a problem. Batches can also be compared across houses and farms as well as historically. Combining key values and the comparison of batches helps you identify best practices.
In times of „shaky“ global supply chains and unpredictable delivery times for many products, it is really helpful to have the new order of feedstuff already at your doorstep the moment your silos run low. A direct data connection to your feed mill partner enables you react before a shortage can put your productivity at jeopardy. With BFN Fusion, you can even schedule automatic re-orders so your animals always have what they need to prosper.
The „Silo“ module shows the fill level of siloes and forecasts the fill levels for the next few days as well as the forecasted time when the silo will be empty. A graphical view of fill level history shows changes over time when feeds are delivered and withdrawn.
The „Reference“ module is preloaded with reference profiles from genetics companies makes it easy for you to measure cross-farm productivity and compare the results. References can be personalized to your own preferences to meet your business’ requirements.
Via the “Export” function you can set up an interface to slaughter plants, feed-mills or other partners for automatic data transfer.
The „Simple Export“ module similar to the „Export“ module but this function has a predefined interface with the most common types of data . The values are limited to 15 minute intervals.
The „Alarm“ shows all the alerts from all of your production houses and allows you to see when they were acknowledged and cleared.
The „Dashboard“ allows you to monitor how the production is going in near real time. You can choose which values you want to monitor and if you want to see it on a company level or scaled all the way down to a section.
If you choose to view the status on an enterprise level and this changes from green to red then you can easily drill down to get an overview of all your farms and see which farm is red and further down to house or section level. At the bottom level you can also see the development over the past 48 hours to learn what has happened.
Trend Warnings is only available for broilers. It uses the data from the first days in a batch to calculate the expected development in feed and water consumption. The expected development is recalculated several times per day to accommodate for sudden changes.
When the measured values deviate from the expected development, the module sends a warning and draws a small icon on a graph. For more details about the warning just click on the warning and get an explanation as well as suggestions as to what might cause the warning and what you might do to rectify it.

Connectability with all manufacturers
Do you use equipment or controllers from other manufactures, maybe even different ones on different farms? No problem! Our OrbitX IoT gateway is the missing link that connects every type of hardware with BFN Fusion – easily, securely and reliably. The small box is easy to install at any of your locations.

OrbitX transfers all your production and climate data to the BFN Fusion cloud in real time. Integrating OrbitX into your existing farm network, you can inter-connect the data of all your locations and farms. BFN Fusion validates and structures the real-time data from all of your farms: for the first time ever, you will receive a full, detailed and comparable overview of your entire value chain.
Hardware (Viper Touch)
In order to connect third party sensor equipment to the BFN Fusion cloud, all you need is one Viper Touch in each of your farm’s buildings as well as one Orbit X for the whole farm.
The ViperTouch terminals will communicate the sensor data to Orbit X and there your are: able to use real time data to monitor and optimize your production like never before!
